Hey, this looks fun!

So it's like this Valentine's Day celebration/thing/something/I'm not completely sure but it looks fun!

So, I found it through Autumn's post, and the link to the thing will be in the picture.

Or maybe not.  Ummm...here's the link to the post.  I was supposed to grab a button (?) or something but I'm not really sure how to do that so you'll just have to take it as it is.

ANYWAY, there was this cool list of icebreakers! :D  YAY!  I'm gonna do them now. :)

1. White chocolate or milk/dark chocolate? Milk chocolate.
2. Tea or Coffee?  Are you kidding?  TEA!!!! Then again, coffee's brilliant.  But I drink tons of tea.  Sometimes like eight cups a day.  I reuse the bags, though.  The first cup is strong, the second a bit weak, and by the time you get to the fourth (which I don't do very often) it's pretty much imperceptably-flavored water.
3. Movie or book on a night-in?  Don't hate me, but definitely a movie.  You can start and stop with a book in seconds, but with a movie that's alot harder.  Plus, I'm homeschooled and have younger siblings, so reading a book they aren't old enough to is alot different from watching a movie they can't. In short, night to myself?  Movie.
4. Rom-com or a tear-jerker? Hmm...probably romantic comedy.
5. Who is the first literary couple to come to your mind? Rose and Fish from Regina Doman's Fairy-Tale novels.
6. Who is the first *movie* couple that comes to your mind? Han Solo and Princess Leia
7. Roses or chocolate?  Chocolate.  Duh.
8. Fancy dinner in a 4-star restaurant or a simple picnic?  Umm...various snacks (mostly junk food) at home watching a movie.
9. Dream wedding scenario: outdoor family affair, or a formal church wedding & reception at a 5-star hotel? Formal church wedding (I'm Catholic, so having a Nuptial Mass is/will be extremely important to me) with the reception being a simple affair of the type of outdoor family.
10. What was the last love song you listened to? "All American Girl (Live)" by Train on Pandora.  The one I'm listening to now ("Push" by Matchbox Twenty) is probably a love song too, but I haven't finished the song yet.  (I'm not really listening; just internet radio while typing up this post.)
11. Favorite real-life/celebrity couple? My friend and her boyfriend.  They are my OTP. :)
12. One piece of advice about love: That quote...Autumn did it too, it's from the Song of Songs (according to her--I don't really know but I have no reason to think she's wrong) the one about charging the daughters of Jerusalem not to raise up love until it rises of it's own accord.  That one.  Hopefully you know your Bible quotes better than I do.  (Yes, I know I'm pitiful.)

Guess Who's Caught Up on School?

Ya.  Me.  YAY! :D
...I don't know what else to say.

Oh, yeah!  *singsongy* I'm doing logic!!!

It's pretty fun.  Did you know that in formal logic, just thinking about one thing, ONE thing, not even a sentence or even a statement but just one thing has three steps?  Yup!  Sense perception...uhhh...something...ah! mental image...and...I think there's another name for it, but simple apprehension.  And simple apprehension is also the name for all three steps put together.  Cool, right?

'K, I'm gonna go back to messing off on the internet.  Bye for now!  :)

Please Pray for the Boy Scouts

My brother, Grylls, is in Boy Scouts.  He really likes it and it's been a great experience for him.  My other brothers, Dexter and Casey, are looking forward to the day they are old enough to join.

That might not happen.
As I understand it, tomorrow the Boy Scout officials are voting at HQ on whether or not to let openly homosexuals in leadership positions.
If the vote goes through, our Boy Scout troop will disband, and my brothers won't be Boy Scouts anymore.

So please pray that homosexuals are not allowed to be in leadership positions.

As a side note, I'm going to be caught up on my school hopefully very soon.  Keep an eye out for more posts!  :)

Rockin' Out, Thinking I Should Do a Blog Post

Yeah, that title pretty much sums everything up.  I'm listening to Owl City's new album (currently "I'm Coming After You"), and thinking, "man, I need to do a blog post!"

So here I am.  Blogging.  Hai.

Okay, random things to say.  You get five random things.  From me.  Okay, random things.

1.  I LOVE THIS SONG!!! SOON I'M GONG TO WEAR IT OUT BY LISTENING TO IT TOO MUCH (I kinda think I am already) BUT "I'M COMING AFTER YOU" IS A GREAT SONG!!!!

2.  My books came today!!! I ordered Waking Rose, by Regina Doman, and Waterfall, by Lisa T. Bergen from Amazon.  (thank you, Abuelitos!)

3.  I finished the Princess Leia doll (the one I started making for my little sister months ago) a few days ago.

4.  I am behind on school.  (Then again, what else is new?) I've got some essays to finish up, some reading to do and then a test (all American Literature), and then more reading.  (A lesson plan supplement, and skim reading 4 books of the Bible.  Subject: Religion.)

5.  I've gotten my little brother into Not-So-Normal-Week, the awesome comedy fanfic series by author Bluesaber3!!!  (here's the link to Bluesaber3's profile)

And bonus: I'm also currently listening to and obsessed with "Speed of Love."  (another song from the new Owl City album)

Dog Food

Okay, so you've just read the title, and you're a little wierded out.  "'Dog Food?'" you exclaim, slightly worried.  "This won't be some metaphorical nonsense about a dog, I hope.  Metaphorical dogs are overrated," you say, as you suddenly harbor silent doubts as to exactly what "metaphorical" means and if you used it correctly.

Fear not, dear reader!  (Yes, I just called you "dear."  You got this far, an endearing term is justified.  Hug?)  I do actually have a story regarding dog food, y'know, those little dried kernels that domesticated dogs are commonly fed by their owners for sustenance.

Okay, now onto my story.

I should preface this by saying that my baby sister, Kiara, likes to eat the dog's (Holly's) food.  I joke that they have an agreement: they share each other's food.  When Kiara is up in her highchair or wandering around the house, she'll share with Holly, and Holly in turn lets Kiara eat out of her dog bowl.

My mom was in the laundry room the other day (that's where Holly's food and water bowls are, as well as her bed) doing something with the laundry.  I don't think she was folding it; she was probably sorting it or moving it from washer to dryer or something.  Exactly what Mom was doing with the laundry is besides the point.

Anyway, as Mom was working with the laundry, she heard some rustling, the kind of rustling that is characteristic of Kiara poking around in the dog food.  So, my Mom tells Kiara to stop.  And the rustling stops.

And then a few minutes later, it starts again.  Mom turns to find that Kiara is back.

With a spoon.
